42.	Former Moorgate School, Hospital Street Tamworth View the reasons why item 42. is restricted Minutes: Members received a report for the dispose of the former Moorgate School and ancillary buildings. The final details of the sale to be delegated to the Assistant Director for Commercial and Assets and if the sale falls through to include sale to underbidders on the terms submitted. Local member comments were received in support of the application. It was queried whether it has been confirmed that the properties are fully surplus to council requirements now and in the future. It was confirmed, due to cost provision for refurbishment and the size of the properties, that they are surplus and the recommendations set out in the report are the preferred option. Resolved – That approval be given for the dispose of the former Moorgate School and ancillary buildings on the terms set out in the report. The final details of the sale to be delegated to the Assistant Director for Commercial and Assets and if the sale falls through to include sale to underbidders on the terms submitted.
43.	Lease of Staffordshire place Two Ground Floor View the reasons why item 43. is restricted Minutes: Members received a report to grant a 10-year lease of part of the ground floor of SP2 with Walton Hall Academy/Shaw Education Trust for provision of post 16 education. The final details of the transaction to be delegated to the Assistant Director for Commercial and Assets. Background information was shared, stating the number of benefits to SCC. Local member comments were received. Resolved – That approval be given to grant a 10-year lease to Walton Hall Academy/Shaw Education Trust for provision of post 16 education. The final details of the transaction to be delegated to the Assistant Director for Commercial and Assets.
