RESOLVED – That Mr B. Edwards be appointed Chairman of the Charities and Trusts Committee.

Brief training session by the Director of Democracy, Law and Transformation

Minutes:

Members noted the terms of reference/constitution/delegation of the Charities and Trusts Committee.

 

The Director of Democracy, Law and Transformation gave a brief training session for Members on their role as Trustees of a Charity.  In response to a question, he clarified that the Staffordshire County Council was the actual Charity Trustee and that individual members would not be held liable for any undertakings.
